Bus Shelter

The NYC streetscape is about to change for the better! The NYCDOT (Department of Transportation) is releasing new street furniture by the Coordinated Street Furniture Franchise (CSFF). Over the next 5 years NYC will implement 3 types of structures design by GRIMSHAW.

1. Bus Shelter’s (above)

2. Newsstands

3. Automatic Public Toilets

As a NYC resident you wonder how long will these last? Vandalism plagued previous bus shelters… I wonder will they survive? These structures are pure eye candy in any neighborhood and environmentally friendly.
